PlacioX Privacy Notice for Tenants

Platform: PlacioX

Contact: info@placiox.com

Introduction

This notice explains how PlacioX collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information from tenants and businesses searching for short-term business space.

Information We Collect from Tenants

We may collect account information, company details, search criteria, saved searches, listing favourites, inquiry details, booking details, intended use, requested dates, truck/loading needs, payment status, invoice records, verification requests, Julia Chat messages, and support requests.

How We Use Tenant Information

We use tenant information to power search and matching, save demand, route inquiries to landlords, create bookings, generate invoices and receipts, support Julia Chat, provide customer support, improve marketplace quality, and protect safety.

AI Use for Search and Matching

PlacioX may use AI tools to parse natural language searches, identify relevant listings, summarize tenant demand, and improve recommendations. We use minimum necessary data and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information to AI tools.

What Information Is Shared with Landlords

Landlords may receive operational booking and inquiry information needed to evaluate a request, including tenant name or company, requested dates, intended use, access needs, message, accepted rules, and booking/payment status. Tenant private email is not shown on public listing pages.

How We Share Tenant Information

We may share information with landlords, administrators, service providers, payment processors, hosting providers, email providers, analytics/security tools, and legal or compliance recipients when required.

Payments

Payment workflows may involve Stripe or other payment providers. PlacioX may process booking totals, platform fees, insurance/add-ons, invoices, receipts, payment status, and related checkout records.

Marketing Communications

Tenants may opt in to receive PlacioX updates, listing alerts, saved-search notifications, and commercial messages. Marketing consent is optional and can be withdrawn at any time without affecting transactional or service messages.

Retention

We retain tenant information as long as needed to operate the platform, maintain booking and invoice records, meet legal/accounting requirements, resolve disputes, support security, and improve marketplace operations.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Protected platform messaging helps avoid public exposure of direct private contact details.

Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests

Tenants may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information by contacting info@placiox.com or submitting a request through the Privacy Center. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Cross-Border Processing

PlacioX and its service providers may process information in Canada, the United States, and other jurisdictions where platform infrastructure or providers operate.
